The impact of Legume Futures depends to a significant extent on the development of public policy, particularly the Common Agricultural Policy.
Here we provide briefings aimed specifically at the policy community. This includes the conventional policy community in the European Commission and in national governments. It also includes the wider policy community such as those from farming organisations, Non-governmental organisations, and parliamentarians.
Members of the Legume Futures consortium have been working closely with the European Parliament in providing scientific advice on the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy. They will report directly to the Parliament on 25 April 2013, and their report will be available shortly afterwards.
